چکیده
The weak absorption spectrum of dideuterated water, D2O, has been recorded by Intracavity Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (ICLAS) between 11400 and 11900 cm . This spectrum is dominated by the 3m1 + m2 + m3 and the m1 + m2 + 3m3 centered at 11500.25 and 11816.64 cm , respectively. A total of 530 energy levels belonging to eight vibrational states were determined. The rovibrational assignment process of the 840 lines attributed to D2O was mostly based on the results of new variational calculations consisting in a refinement of the potential energy surface of Shirin et al. [J. Chem. Phys., 120 (2004) 206] on the basis of recent experimental observations, and a dipole moment surface from Schwenke and Partridge [J. Chem. Phys. 113 (2000) 6592]. The overall agreement between these calculations and the observed spectrum is very good both for the line positions and the line intensities. 2007 Published by Elsevier Inc.

Intracavity laser absorption spectroscopy of HDO between 12145 and 13160 cm 1
The high resolution absorption spectrum of monodeuterated water, HDO, has been recorded by Intracavity Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (ICLAS) in the 12145–13160 cm 1 region. The achieved sensitivity (noise equivalent absorption on the order of amin 10 9 cm ) allowed detecting transitions with line strengths as weak as 10 27 cm/molecule which is about 50 times lower than the weakest line intensit...

High resolution spectra (0.014 cm -1 ) of 0 3 of the highly structured first two members of the Wulf progression in the near-infrared spectral range (9100-10200 cm -j ) have been measured by intracavity laser absorption spectroscopy (ICLAS). A preliminary analysis of the rotational structure confirmed previous assignments for the lowest excited 3A 2 (triplet) state. However, the linewidths of t...

Application of ultrabroadband Cr2+-doped mid-infrared lasers to sensitive molecular spectroscopy in the 2–3 μm wavelength range is demonstrated using two different techniques: scanning photoacoustic spectroscopy and intracavity absorption spectroscopy. It is shown, that the broad gain bandwidth is a crucial parameter, allowing multicomponent analysis and extreme sensitivity down to 10−5 mbar of...
متن کاملRotational analysis of 6ν3 and 6ν3+ν2-ν2 bands of 14N2 16O from ICLAS spectra between 12760 and 12900 cm-1
The absorption spectrum of nitrous oxide (N2O) has been recorded by Intracavity Laser Absorption Spectroscopy between 12760 and 12900 cm -1 . The rotational analysis led to an improved determination of the rovibrational parameters of the 6ν3 and 6ν3+ν2-ν2 bands of 14 N2 16 O. The high J rotational levels of the (00 0 6) and (01 1 6) upper states were found perturbed by an anharmonic interaction...

We report the demonstration of high-sensitivity intracavity laser absorption spectroscopy with multiple-quantum-well vertical-external-cavity surface-emitting semiconductor lasers (VECSEL's). A detection limit of 3 x 10(-10) cm (-1) has been achieved. The spectrotemporal dynamics of a VECSEL in the 1030-nm wavelength region has been studied. The laser was operating cw at room temperature, with ...
